We were delighted to be awarded the Tourism Crown of Franconian Switzerland in 2024. For us, this honour is a special recognition of our commitment to inclusive nature experiences, accessible tours and active participation. Through the IMpunkt – Inclusion MeetingPoint and the SCUTTLER-Touren, we aim to give people the opportunity to experience nature and physical activity together, regardless of individual limitations.

Who awards the Tourism Crown?

The Tourism Crown is a regional award for Franconian Switzerland. It is presented as part of a competition to tourism providers and businesses whose ideas and offerings make a special contribution to the region’s further development. Awards are presented in the ‘Innovation’ and ‘Beacon’ categories. As such, the Tourism Crown is regarded as an important hallmark of innovation and quality for tourism in the region. Why was IMpunkt awarded the prize?

Our project received the award because it brings inclusion in tourism to life in a practical way. IMpunkt and SCUTTLER-Touren demonstrate how accessible nature experiences can be made available to as many people as possible. This is not just about a good concept, but about a concrete solution with social added value: people with and without disabilities should be able to explore together, enjoy nature and have new experiences.

What does this award mean to us?

For us, the 2024 TourismusKrone is both a mark of recognition and an incentive. It shows that our commitment to accessible leisure activities, inclusive nature experiences and innovative tourism concepts is worthwhile. At the same time, it motivates us to further develop the IMpunkt and the SCUTTLER-Touren and to make our offerings even more accessible to guests, visitors and people from the region.
